The Point

Looking at the array of topics explored, you might be asking what is the point of this blog? I quite possibly will be asking myself the same question at times.

This is a space to work things out without having to worry about labels. It’s a space to blur boundaries and in the process allow myself to further develop a new way of thinking that, with any luck, will be better prepare me to make a contribution to the solutions for the big problems the world is facing. I would like to think that what I write or how I think might be able to help others open up their thinking too, but that’s not imperative. I can’t force people to change, nor do I want to. I like the freedom to be myself, so I know that I owe others that freedom as well.

This is not another music/concert review blog even if I talk about music, or an art blog because I talk about art. This isn’t a political blog when I take a stand or mere fluff when I don’t. I hold no pretensions and I have no single ideology. This is not an attempt to be the next Christian Lander or Perez Hilton, but rather an attempt to cut through the layers of the person I am at any given moment in time.

I hope that I am able to inform or entertain, ideally both. I want to create something that someone other than my mother might want to read. But, most importantly, I want to create something I can be proud of, regardless of whether another soul ever lays eyes on this project or not.
